The Santa Gertrudis cow is the foundation of the Nunley Brothers herd. Full blood Santa Gertrudis heifers produce our Hereford and Angus cross calves.
Our Gert bulls are from reputable breeders based on performance data. One of our bulls purchased from 2S Ranch back in 1998 did exceptionally well in the DNA
test. He was Istar marbling, 4star tenderness! We bred 200 cows to "Ricardo" in May '04 by artificial insemination. Ricardo is the only 6 star bull
